If you are not using Terminal 5, then the Travelodge Heathrow Central hotel is more appropiate. Travelodge Heathrow Central is a newer hotel than the Terminal 5 hotel, opened in December 2008 and has direct connections both shuttle bus and public bus connections to Heathrow's central area where Terminals 1,2 and 3 are. The central area also has a free train link to Terminal 4.

Like all its peers in the Travelodge chain the hotel is a no frills budget hotel. Expect
a well equipped bedroom equivalent to a good 3 star hotel but little else in terms of services. Just a bar and cafe.

Vicinity :
The Travelodge Heathrow is quite isolated by junction 14 of the M35 motorway.
There is little in the immediate vicinity and no public transport. The only link for foot passengers is the hotel bus to Terminal 5.

Adjacent is a large industrial estate with businesses serving the airport.
You can walk for about 10 minutes into the village where there is a pub.

Passenger Terminal Transfers:
Like all the major hotels at Heathrow, transfers between the the hotel and the Heathrow passenger terminals are provided by the Hoppa Buses. The relative position of the Travelodge Central Heathrow to the various passenger terminals and hotels are shown at the Heathrow hotel map at the bottom of the page. Note Hoppa Bus transfers are to Terminal 5 only where you can transfer to other terminals..
