Vicinity,
Good & Bad Points:
The
Marriott Hotel Heathrow/Windsor is about 5 miles west of the terminals,
but is one of the closer hotels to Terminal 5, isolated on the west
side of the airport.
If you want to get away from the hotel there is a pub opposite and
a Harvester Steak House about 200m away. A convenience shop is about
200m away down by the side of the pub.
Public
buses runs into Heathrow about every 15 minutes from opposite the
hotel, an alternative to the dedicated Hotel Hoppa service. A public
bus to Windsor Castle runs the other side of the motorway from the
hotel, buses run every 30 minutes (1 hour on Sunday) and run late
into the evening. |
