Up at The O2 is a fantastic climbing adventure for people wishing to ascend to the top of the iconic O2 Arena in London.

No climbing experience is necessary and you'll be equipped with all the gear you need to follow your guide to the apex of the building to look down upon Canary Wharf, the Olympic Park, and historic Greenwich.

Up at the O2 is an attraction open to most people over the age of 8. You do not need to have had any previous climbing experience but do need to be in a reasonable state of health, certain height and weight conditions apply, and it is not suitable for pregnant people.
First you'll meet your experienced guide who will lead you in a safety briefing. You'll be specially kitted out with limb jacket, boots, harness and latch, and your guide will carefully lead you every step of the way up to the apex of the arena to experience stunning views.
You guide is also on hand to answer any questions you might have about the iconic building - they are very knowledgeable and will be happy to chat.
Following the ascent of course comes the descent - very much part of the thrill. Your experience ends safely back at Base Camp.
The whole experience lasts around 90 minutes. Check in 15 minutes before your pre-booked time.
You'll be able to see a 360 degree view of Canary Wharf, the Olympic Park, and historic Greenwich.
Up at The O2 is 52m at its highest point.
There are various options for the type of climb you choose; including daytime climb, sunset climb, twilight climb, celebrations climbs and educational climbs. Group and corporate bookings are also available.

Climbs will take place in all conditions with the exception of extreme weather such as high winds, icy conditions, storms or lightening.
Open between 3 and 6 days a week, year round, except for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Daytime climbing times vary from between 10.00 or 11.00 and 16.00 and 18.00 depending on time of year and day of week.
Sunset climbs are roughly an hour before sunset, while twilight climbs are an hour after this.

The O2 Arena is located at Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX, on Greenwich peninsular (North Greenwich), a 45 minute walk from Greenwich Pier. The entrance to Up at The O2 is just to the left of The O2's main entrance.
North Greenwich (Jubilee Line).
None of the main hop-on bus companies go out as far as North Greenwich. However, certain River Services do sail up to North Greenwich.
Uber Boat by Thames Clippers is a fantastic way of approaching the O2 Arena. The River Bus stops at 24 piers across the capital linking North Greenwich directly to central London including London Bridge, Tower, Embankment, Westminster and London Eye. Services run every 20 minutes throughout the day from early in the morning until late in the evening.
Note: City Cruises do not go as far as North Greenwich - the furthest they sail is Greenwich Pier, a 45-min walk from the O2 Arena.
Your ticket gives you a 90 minute climb to the top of the O2 Arena and down again with terrific panoramic views over London, with a knowledgeable guide and all safety gear included.
The cheapest tickets for Up at the O2 are midweek tickets (expect to pay more at weekends), for the original climb.
Sunset and twilight climbs are slightly more expensive.
Prices are generally the same whether you go through a third party seller or purchase through the official website.
There are no fast-track tickets for Up at The O2.
Queuing is not always much of an issue at Up at The O2. Timeslots do minimise the queuing, although being the first or last timeslots of the day can save on some queuing time.
When you book you will choose a half-hour time-slot in which to visit; you need to arrive 15-20 minutes before your departure slot.
Timeslots for the classic climb are available between 10 and 5.30pm depending on season. Sunset and twilight climb ticket timeslots change depending on the the time of year visiting.
Once booked, tickets can not be changed or canceled. Late arrivals will not be admitted, exchanged or refunded.
Group bookings can be accommodated, so you effectively get your own private experience with a guide to yourself. Maximum number of climbers is 30 per timeslot.
Private bookings are charged from 1-18 people or 19-30.
