Paris is just 2 hours 15 minutes away from London using the high-speed Eurostar trains that travel city centre to city centre.
Eurostar train fares are very volatile, you need to book several months in advance normally to get the best fares. Leave it until late and the Eurostar fares can be eye watering.
Tour operators have negotiated their own fixed price fares with Eurostar at a very good price.
So much so that if you leave it until very late to book your trip to Paris from London a tour with all the sightseeing and accommodation thrown in may well be cheaper than a Eurostar train fare on offer.
Paris over-night tours have been suspended for a number of years by most tour companies. It is likely that at least one tour operator will resume tours in 2024. We will update this page accordingly as soon as we have more information.

Common features of short breaks to Paris
The common feature of all day tours to Paris is the Eurostar train service and the services of a tour manager for guidance and information.
In London the railway station is St Pancras International Station, just to the north of the very centre of London. No hotel transfers are included to or from St Pancras.
It is a very early start at St Pancras enabling you to be in Paris mid/late morning on your first day.

Day 1
The tour begins with a panoramic tour of the city passing Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysees.

This exclusive restaurant is run by two Michelin stars chef Thierry Marx and offers contemporary brasserie cuisine.
After your meal you'll head to Bateaux Parisiens for a cruise on the River Seine that boasts fabulous views of Notre Dame built nearly 900 years ago.
In the late afternoon we transfer you to your 4-star superior hotel leaving you a free evening in Paris.
Day 2
Day two begins with a leisurely buffet breakfast. The rest of the day is free for you to explore independently. A map of the city is also included plus some suggested highlights. In the early evening you will board your train at Gard du Nord for the return journey to London which departs at approximately 7pm.
