Your tour will begin at London's Euston Station from where the direct trains depart for Liverpool. You will need to be at Euston Station at 6.30am with your train e-tickets for your outbound and inbound rail journeys.
Your train will depart at 7.07am (7.03 on a Saturday) and arrive in to Liverpool Lime Street Station at 9.21am.
Approximately 2 hours 15 minutes after leaving London you step off the train in the heart of Liverpool.
In the morning you are free to discover at your own pace and time. From the railway station it makes logistical sense to visit Mathew Street (Liverpool's Cavern Quarter) about 10 minutes walk from the railway station where you find The Beatles Shop and Matthew Street Gallery. Opposite is The Cavern Pub (opposite the Cavern Club).
Another 10-minute walk and you are at the Albert Dock, home of the The Beatles Story.
Mathew Street is a focal point in The Beatles history. It is home to the musical wall of fame and a tribute statue to John Lennon, focus of visitor’s selfies.
Here you will find the famous Cavern Club where it all started for the Beatles and also the Cavern Pub featuring memorabilia from past performances at The Cavern.
The Beatles Shop features an original 1959 jukebox packed full of Beatles singles, and even a Beatles carpet! The shop boasts “The largest range of Beatles gear in the world”.
The shop also has a permanent display of original memorabilia from the sixties.
A few minutes' walk is The Beatles Story exhibition at Albert Dock showing the lives and times of John, Paul, George and Ringo, from the band's early days right through to their solo careers.

This two hour guided tour takes place on-board the colourful Magical Mystery Tour Bus with an enthusiastic qualified Beatles Guide.
The tour goes to the childhood homes of The Beatles, their birthplaces and to the familiar places that inspired their most well-known songs like Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever.
You’ll be kept entertained along the way by a professional Beatles Guide and some Fab Four tunes.
The Magical Mystery Tour ends at the Cavern Club, where you can enjoy live music every afternoon from the Cavern’s resident musicians and where you'll receive free entry into the Club and receive an exclusive souvenir.
You can take as much or as little time as you like at the Beatles exhibits.
You are in the heart of Liverpool and a major shopping centre and although perhaps hard to believe for the Beatles fans there are great tourist attractions outside of the Beatles centred around the Albert Dock area.
Your train departs for London at 6.47pm.
