After being picked up from Southampton port or your Southampton hotel (or London if you prefer) you'll be driven to your first destination out on Salisbury Plain - the legendary Stonehenge (entry included).

Entry is also included at another World Heritage Site - the Roman Baths at Bath. You also get an informative and relaxed walking tour of Oxford.

You will have time for lunch on both days in the beautiful surroundings of Bath and Oxford. Accommodation will be in one of the Cotswolds towns or villages of your choosing (book your own).

Being a private tour, this tour allow you to go at a pace you want to see it at compared with a typical coach tour.

The driver-guide is there to tell stories, give insights and answer your questions. Once at a destination it will vary how much if any guiding is performed by the driver-guide, the accent is to enable you to see and experience what is most rewarding for you personally.

You'll be dropped back to where you need to be - London, Heathrow or Southampton.

Day 1

You'll be picked up from your choice of either Southampton port or hotel or London.

Your driver-guide will do the introductions, run you through the logistics of the tour and begin to give you insights into what you are witnessing and the first destination ahead.

It is motorway almost all the way to your first stop at Stonehenge, but after Stonehenge you are in some of the best of the English countryside that is your companion for most of the tour. Your private car can venture down the roads and access destinations the big coach tours cannot.

First stop is Stonehenge the best known prehistoric monument in Europe and one of the seven wonders of the world.
Enjoy an hour's scenic drive to Bath, where a wide variety of attractions await including the Roman Baths (entrance included).
From Bath you'll head to the scenic Cotswolds. A popular choice to rest your head is in sleepy Burford, other options include areas like Bibury, Cirencester or Stow on the Wold. You will need to book your own accommodation in one of these areas.

Day 2

The next day starts with a memorable drive through the stunning Windrush Valley visiting hidden villages, including Swinbrook (home of the Mitford Sisters and some charming scenery).
The next stop is the beautiful village and ancient ruins of Minster Lovell. This pretty village on the River Windrush boasts plenty of Cotswold stone and thatched roofs, as well as holding the title of being the region’s most haunted village. Minster Lovell is perhaps best known for the ruins of its 15th century hall, owned by generations of the Lovell family.
The last stop of the tour is Oxford, renowned for 900 years of academic excellence through its world-famous university. Here you can enjoy some lunch in one of the many eateries followed by a complimentary guided walking tour.
You can finish your 2-day tour at your choice of Heathrow airport, London or Southampton. However if you need another airport or town this can also be arranged - with private tours there is a lot of flexibility.
