The Holiday Inn Express Terminal 5 Heathrow is as its name implies particularly convenient for those using Terminal 5 at Heathrow.

 

However, you should note that it is a full 3 miles away from Terminal 5 itself, you cannot walk to the Holiday Inn Express T5 Heathrow Airport from Terminal 5.

It should be noted that there is also a Holiday Inn Terminal 5 that is closer to the airport than the Holiday Inn Express Terminal 5. The only hotel you can walk to from Terminal 5 is the expensive Sofitel Heathrow.

The Holiday Inn Express T5 is served by the Heathrow Hoppa Bus passenger terminal transfer service but note: the Hoppa Bus service only serves Terminal 5 from the Holiday Inn Express Terminal 5.

 

From Terminal 5 you can use the Heathrow Express train free to Heathrow Central between Terminals 2 and 3 and interconnect to another free train to Terminal 4.

The Hoppa Bus only runs between the Holiday Inn Express Terminal 5 and Terminal 5 itself.

 

From Terminal 5 you can use the Heathrow Express train free to Heathrow Central between Terminals 2 and 3 and interconnect to another free train to Terminal 4.

The hotel stands on a main road in a residential area. Opposite the hotel is a BP service station that sells basics in its store. A Post Office is about 100m west of the hotel and there is a Fish and Chip shop and other fast food options. If you walk under the motorway to the Marriott Windsor there is Toby Carvery opposite and a Harvester Steak restaurant a few hundred yards beyond.

 

You can catch a regular local bus to Windsor Castle from close by or use more frequent buses to Slough where there are good connections to the other side of the River Thames where Windsor lies.
