Marriott Heathrow/Windsor Hotel has restaurant, pizzeria & health club |
The Marriott Heathrow/Windsor is by Junction 5 on the M4 motorway, about 5 miles west of Heathrow. In terms of quality and size of rooms the Marriott Windsor is right up there and especially at weekends the room rates can be very good value.
The Marriott Windsor is some distance to the west of Heathrow Airport and as its name implies is mid-way between Heathrow and Windsor, where Windsor Castle is the main home of the Queen of England and can easily be visited.
The Marriott Windsor / Heathrow is best if you are using Terminal 5 at Heathrow, a terminal isolated from other terminals on the west side of the airport. The Marriott Windsor has a sister hotel called Marriott Heathrow which is on the main airport hotel strip (the Bath Road) opposite the north runway at Heathrow airport.
The Marriott Windsor has a regular airport shuttle bus service but it only serves Heathrow Terminal 5.
If you are using Terminal 5 the Marriott Windsor offer great value for a premium hotel, normally much cheaper than alternatives around the airport itself including the main Marriott Heathrow hotel, and especially at weekends.
If you are using other terminals, they can be reached by a free train service from Terminal 5.
