This summer pay special attention to the Cosmati pavement - a nearly 800 year old medieval treasure - one of Britain's greatest, and only carefully revealed from under carpet in 2010. From the 1870s until this time it had lain beneath the carpet meaning many previous monarchs (including Elizabeth II) had not been crowned with it on display.
King Charles will be the first monarch in around 150 years to be crowned upon this glorious mosaic floor of marble, stone, glass and metal.
This exhibition in the Chapter House will reveal the key elements of the royal ceremony which has taken place at the Abbey for nearly a thousand years.
