The Days Inn Stansted is one of the cheapest hotels near Stansted Airport and is conveniently located for motorists by the M11 motorway interchange with Stansted Airport, just outside the main airport entrance (see map at bottom of page).

 

The hotel is situated on the Birchanger Green motorway services area and is one of the most economical of the no frills Stansted Airport hotels.

The front entrance of the Days Hotel is yards from the Welcome Break facility on the motorway services area with a good choice of food outlets as an alternative to the hotel. KFC, Burger King, Subway, Starbucks and Waitrose are all found within.

Unfortunately the Days Hotel no longer runs its own shuttle to Stansted Airport.

 

Local public buses run from Stansted Airport bus station to Bishops Stortford and stop beside the motorway service area at Birchanger.

You can walk into the Days Inn and the service area facilities from the bus stop.

The hotel offers en suite bedrooms providing flat screen Freeview television, supportive hypnos beds, complimentary hot drinks tray, hairdryer and all other amenities required for a comfortable night's stay.

A selection of executive bedrooms particularly suited to business travellers are available. These have a large work desk, ironing facilities, laptop safe, in addition to BT Openzone and broadband wi-fi for a home office feel.

The hotel is inside Birchanger Services on the M11. Birchanger Services is at the Stansted Airport junction of the M1. There are entrances and exits from the service area onto local roads.

 

The services are on the outer suburbs of Bishops Stortford, the nearest major town. Public buses run into town from outside the services area.
