Stansted Airport London is around 38 miles north of central London. The familiar London black taxis are not available at Stansted as the airport is too far outside London.

 

The official taxi rank, franchise have a large desk as you come out into the public area on leaving arrivals. Other cheaper companies are available but you need to pre book these before travelling and the drivers will meet 'n' greet you as you exit the baggage hall.

• Flat Fee For Anywhere In Central London - We have a simple stated price for transfers to anywhere in Central London. By Central London we mean any part of London that is in zone 1 of the London Underground system which includes all the major London hotel districts.

• Don't Worry If Your Flight Is Late, Waiting Times - At airports incoming flights are monitored and the driver will adjust his/her arrival time to the actual flight landing time. As all coaches and large mini-buses work to a different set of rules to car pick-ups, the driver will not be able to meet you in the airport. You will need to follow signs for Buses/Coaches from Arrivals, from here you are able to ask the marshall in charge to release your coach to come and pick you up. Full details of the pick-up process is given to you at the time of booking.

Full size touring coaches for large groups

If you have a large group then that is not a problem either. The largest coaches are 49 seat coaches but we also have access to vehicles half that size.

With large groups on cruises the capacity issue is not normally passenger numbers but luggage.

 

UK coaches are built to European traveller requirements, where one large case is perfectly adequate. A typical 49 seat coach will be able to accommodate around 60 large cases in the luggage hold.

 

For a group travelling with North American flight allowances a 49 seat coach will typically only be able to accommodate the luggage of 35 such passengers maximum.

With large groups just as small groups multi- drop and pick-ups from hotels is routine and if you require sightseeing we can arrange a guide whether it be an orientation tour of London or a niche interest of the group.
