Leadenhall Market is one of London's oldest and most magnificent Victorian covered markets in the City of London, near Liverpool Street Station and the Tower of London.
It was used for exterior shots of Diagon Alley in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. At Bull's Head Passage you can find an opticians that was used as the entrance to the wizard’s pub, the Leaky Cauldron.
Be inspired by the magnificent views of St. Paul's Cathedral. St Paul's Geometric Staircase was used in the Harry Potter films as the staircase to Professor Trelawney's Divination Tower.
On this tour your guide will take you over the iconic Millennium Bridge, taking you back to that moment in the dramatic opening in the Half-Blood Prince where the pedestrian-only steel suspension bridge collapsed.
Westminster Underground where Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was filmed, showing Mr. Weasley and Harry on their way to visit the Ministry of Magic. If you are lucky you might just get a chance to re-enact your own spell here.
One of J.K. Rowling's favourite streets in London - Cecil Court off Charing Cross Road inspiration for Diagon Alley. Cecil Court is a lovely street filled with old fashioned bookshops reminiscent of Flourish and Blotts, as we know it from the books.
The charming medieval road of Goodwin’s Court. Like many of the places in London, visited by J.K. Rowling herself and providing her with the inspiration for the darker destination of Knockturn Alley in her books.
The Golden Hinde Galleon ship. Considered the inspiration for the Durmstrang ship in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Interestingly it is also painted in the red and gold Gryffindor colours.
The outside of the notorious Clink Prison, with its ghoulish gibbet and skeleton hanging outside. Dating back to 1144, the oldest prison in London, the very name inspires dread in a person. Perfect inspiration for another well known prison in the Harry Potter series - Azkaban.
An unassuming shop underneath a bridge was brought to life in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron - the popular wizarding pub in the Harry Potter novels.
Borough Market is a lively, old fashioned covered food market, one of the largest and oldest in London and maintains plenty of charm.
