We depart Dover and drive up and above the famous white cliffs, a sight for many a returning sailor and a strong symbol of this island home for many people.
Canterbury
Our first stop is the magnificent city of Canterbury with its world famous cathedral. In Canterbury we include a guided walk, visiting the ancient walls and the remains of the castle, finishing at the cathedral gatehouse. You will then have some free time in which you could visit Canterbury Cathedral (entry is not included).
The cathedral, largely rebuilt by the Normans in the 11th century and see the tomb of King Henry IV and resting place of the hero of Poitiers, The Black Prince. Above all that we learn of the death in 1170 of Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury. This 'murder in the cathedral' is known around the globe and the true nature of the involvement of Henry II is still open to debate today. Join our guide as we present the discussions both for and against in this dark and brutal event.
If you choose not to enter Canterbury Cathedral, you could spend your free time exploring the historic side streets in this city and the many unusual shops and cafes it has to offer.
Journey through Kent countryside to Leeds Castle
After your free time ends, we meet up again to continue touring this unique and charming part of the country. This area is known as the Garden of England, simply because it provided London and other regions with fresh fruit and vegetables, not forgetting hops to flavour traditional English ale. We pass Oast Houses and Hop fields, orchards and vineyards on the journey and it is truly a beautiful part of England.
We make our way to Leeds Castle, described by Lord Conway as 'the loveliest castle in the world'. Entry is included to Leeds Castle and Gardens.
Beautifully set on two islands in the middle of a lake and dating back to 880AD, Leeds Castle has been the home to many English Queens from the end of the 12th century to Tudor times. Beautiful landscaped gardens are a main feature of the grounds as is the stunning lake. Explore the lavish interior and admire the historic rooms then get lost in the famous maze.
Central London hotel & Heathrow drops
Finally we drive into London through Royal Greenwich and then continue towards Tower Bridge with a view of the Tower of London.
We offer a drop off at any London city centre or Heathrow airport hotel. We also drop at any London city centre train station or Heathrow Airport passenger terminal and AirBnB properties in the centre of London.

Luggage policy
The luggage allowance is 2 large cases per passenger (maximum 23kg per case) plus 2 pieces of hand luggage (max 10kg per case). If you have more than this you must contact our office prior to travel.
We do not carry outsize items (e.g. bicycles) and you MUST inform us in advance if you have a wheelchair, mobility vehicle etc.
We are very interested in your anticipated luggage not from a perspective of hitting you with supplemental excess luggage charges but from the perspective of avoiding not having enough capacity in the luggage hold.
The cap on the number of passengers we book on a bus is driven by a simple equation assuming each passenger will be bringing no more than two large cases.
Booking conditions and payment
In order that we can guarantee your booking, you will need to make payment in full at time of reservation.
No amendments to reservations are permitted. There is a 10% cancellation fee until 28 days before arrival. For cancellations within 28 days of arrival, the cancellation fee is the total price of the reservation.
If you are travelling with friends but have separate reservations please advise to avoid the chance you may be allocated separate vehicles.

Private direct transfers between Dover and London
Dover Cruise terminal is about 75 miles (120km) from Central London. Heathrow Airport is the other (west) side of London from Dover and is much longer but in terms of travel time is similar, around 2 hours direct by vehicle.
We have a full range of vehicles ranging from saloon cars right up to large touring coaches so whatever your group size and amount of luggage we can offer a competitive proposal for your transfer needs.
At airports and cruise terminals the price includes meet and greet, the classic reception formula of our drivers being there with your name on a board as you exit customs/luggage. At hotels will come to the reception area to find you at the time you have stipulated at the time of reservation.
