Dover Cruise terminal is about 75 miles (120km) from Central London. Heathrow Airport is the other (west) side of London from Dover and is much longer but in terms of travel time is similar, around 2 hours direct by vehicle.
Gatwick Airport is the closest main airport to Dover, about 90 minutes away with motorway class roads all the way.
The routes between Dover and Gatwick and Heathrow Airports do not go through London itself but uses London's orbital motorway/freeway. On work days this motorway can be very congested leading to routine delays up until about 10am on journeys from Dover.
There are three Dover Cruise Terminals all next to one another in the western docks, although rarely is there more than one cruise ship in port. Dover Ferry Terminal is over a mile away in the eastern docks.

Group transfers for more than 8 passengers
If you have a large group then that is not a problem either.
We offer the full range of vehicles from 12 seat mini-buses to the largest coaches with 50-72 seat coaches but we also have access to vehicles half that size.
For the mini-buses up to 16 passengers we have customised vehicles with much larger luggage capacities.
With large groups on cruises the luggage capacity issue is a factor to be considered.
UK coaches are built to European traveller requirements, where one large case is perfectly adequate. A typical 50 seat coach will be able to accommodate around 60 large cases in the luggage hold.
For a group travelling with North American flight allowances a 50 seat coach will typically only be able to accommodate the luggage of 35 such passengers maximum.
With large groups just as small groups multi- drop and pick-ups from hotels is routine and if you require sightseeing we can arrange a guide whether it be an orientation tour of London or a niche interest of the group.
