The Holiday Inn Express Luton Airport is a modern hotel and has claim to be the closest hotel to the passenger terminal at Luton Airport.
The hotel is on the other side of the aircraft apron from the passenger terminal at Luton Airport, separated by a tunnel which goes underneath a taxiway. (We have a section below detailing the walk from hotel to and from the passenger terminals.) A signposted walkway means you can walk to the hotel from the airport with ease, the pathway is suitable for rolling luggage too.
The only other true airport hotels are the Ibis Luton Airport directly opposite the Holiday Inn Express Luton Airport down a small hill and beyond that the Holiday Inn Luton Airport, Ibis Budget Luton Airport and Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport on the other side of the Ibis Luton.
If you are comparing hotels, it should be noted that the Holiday Inn Express room rate come with a complementary breakfast - most other airport hotels are room only.
