Travel Lodges in London offer good value with modern clean facilities and consistent levels of product.

Ibis and Travelodge are the cheapest of the the main budget chains. Both offer standard clean rooms little different from any three or even four star hotels. All you lack are the frills like room service and spacious lounges in the lobby.

Booked up to a year in advance on a first come first served basis, rooms can be had for as little as £29, or even less on occasions.

Premier Inn have around 300 sites in the UK, many in and around London.

In Central London they have a few sites in good positions. Rates are typically more than Ibis or Travelodge, comparable to many 3 star hotels.

Holiday Inn Express is a growing division of the Holiday Inn Group. Hotels are more expensive than the other chains listed below and are broadly 3 star hotels without some of the frills. There is a wide range of locations and prices which we compare on our dedicated page.
Travelodge is an established chain in the UK with about 200 sites. Travelodge are growing fast in Central London with a good choice of locations. Saver rates are one the best accommodation bargains in Central London.
Ibis offer no frills hotels like Premier Inn and Travelodge. Purpose built hotels in modern, clean rooms. Ibis currently have three excellent options, the Ibis Euston, Ibis Aldgate and the Ibis Earls Court Kensington.

The Ibis is an 18 storey, 380 room hotel only built recently in 1997. It is adjacent to a pleasant park. Cheap 'hot deals' at weekend.
